For seven years, we have helped quilters turn fabric, ideas, and meaningful memories into finished pieces made to last.
Hiatt Custom Quilting LLC is led by owner David Hiatt, with Bill Hiatt bringing an artist’s eye to the work. From our studio in Bend, Oregon, we provide piecing, long arming, and binding for local customers and mail-in projects from across the United States.
Stitching patterns are selected to complement the fabric, scale, and personality of each quilt.
Whether newly made or deeply sentimental, each piece receives careful handling throughout the process.
We explain the process, discuss your preferences, and keep expectations clear before work begins.
Quilters outside Bend can send their work to our studio and receive it back after completion.
A quilt often begins with an idea, a collection of fabrics, or a story waiting to take shape. Our role is to listen closely, understand the intended look, and apply the right techniques to support the work already placed into it.
David Hiatt oversees each project with personal attention, while Bill Hiatt contributes the artistic judgment behind pattern, texture, and visual balance. Together, they create a collaborative process that helps each quilt reach a strong, satisfying finish.
Our process is simple for customers in Bend and across the United States. Share your project details, send us your quilt, and we will take care of the rest.
Tell us about your quilt, preferred service, size, and any design ideas you have in mind.
Once the details are confirmed, carefully package your quilt and send it to our Bend studio.
We confirm the project scope, pricing, and stitching plan before beginning the work.
After completion, your quilt is securely packaged and mailed back to you.
